Mo and Mo MP's with Mustaches

Parliament is being overrun this month by '70s porn-star look-alikes and Tom Selleck wannabes . Watching Question Period has never been so uncomfortable for the female population. Granted, this is being done for charity but lets face it - nobody looks good with a mustache.

The Movember campaign encourages men to grow moustaches during the month of November to raise money for the fight against prostate cancer, which afflicts one in six men. The charity was started by a group of Australian men in 2003 as a humorous way to raise awareness for men's health. The campaign has since expanded to 10 other countries, including the United States, the Netherlands and Canada, where donations are directed to Prostate Cancer Canada.

Last year nearly 119,000 Canadian Mo Bros raised $22.3 million for Prostate Cancer Canada and the Movember Foundation.

I am starting to wonder though; if voter turnout rates aren’t low enough, the epidemic of bad facial hair sprouting on the faces of members of Parliament may turn young Canadians off politics forever. All I can say is that I am looking forward to seeing some freshly shaved faces on December first!

I think Trudeau looks great with the 'stache! In that picture, he has a 'pirate' sort of look going.

Although I suppose that many would say that's not the type of style a politician should aim for..
